*Roulette, like all gambling, is a game of chance so, obviously, chance is involved. This does not mean that only chance is involved. If the roulette wheel is random then no one can predict with certainty that we will win or lose. That certainty belongs to astrology not maths.
*To play Russian Roulette in the best experience possible you are required to follow certain guidelines to ensure the chat is a safe and fun place for others. These rules are simple and are listed below. We are an English speaking wiki, therefore it is recommended that you speak English.
Of course, those odds are affected by the type of roulette you are playing and the extra rules that apply to it. As you probably already know, European roulette has better odds for the player than American roulette. Also, a European roulette game with the rules ‘la partage’ and ‘en prison’ will have a lower house edge than one without them. Bauernroulette is a game that was apparently invented in Germany, where several companies sell it.The name Bauernroulette indicates it is a ’poor man’s roulette’, since Bauer is German for ’peasant’, ’farmer’ or ’one of a chiefly European class of agricultural laborers’.
In roulette, the en prison rule is an opportunity to recover one’s stakes after a spin of zero, provided one’s bet was even-odds (i.e. high–low, even–odd, red–black).[1] It is a variant of the la partage rule, in which a player loses only half their even-odds stake if the original spin is a zero, recouping the other half[1] (partage being French for ’sharing’). In European casinos, where la partage is customary, the player may be given the option instead to place their original stake en prison (’in prison’ in French).[1] The stake is left on the previous bet, and the croupier places a marker on it to show it is en prison.[1] If the bet wins on the next spin, the player’s stake is returned; if it loses, it is forfeited.[1] Different casinos adopt different rules for the case where zero comes up a second time: it may be treated as won, lost, la partage or en prison.[1][2]
The ’La Partage’ version of Roulette is more favorable towards the player when compared to the standard American and European Roulette Games. It has a payout percentage of 98.65%, which means the house edge is 1.35%, but this is only the case when the player is betting on a two-sided outside bet.[3]
Most Casinos in the United States do not use la partage or en prison rules; an even-odds stake loses if zero is rolled.[1] Those that do include these Las Vegas Casinos: The Bellagio, MGM Grand, The Mirage, The Rio and The Wynn.[citation needed]See also[edit]Roulette Rules WikipediaReferences[edit]

Bauernroulette is a game that was apparently invented in Germany, where several companies sell it. The name Bauernroulette indicates it is a ’poor man’s roulette’, since Bauer[1] is German for ’peasant’, ’farmer’ or ’one of a chiefly European class of agricultural laborers’.[2] In Bauernroulette, a spinning top is spun in the middle of a wooden circular playing surface that contains six wooden balls. The balls bounce off the top in random directions and sometimes land within one of several hollow indentations within the surface, or pass through a small hole into chambers that are located outside the spinning surface area. Typically, the most points are scored by landing balls within these outer chambers. Skilled players are often able to spin the top such that it remains in motion for more than thirty seconds.Roulette Rules WikiAn image of an older version of the game, the new one (available on the internet) is octagonal in shape, with eight ’bowls’ instead of four on the outside.Rules[edit]
*Place the 6 balls (4 white, 1 red, and 1 green) in the center of the playing field.
*Set the whipping top near them and spin it.
*The balls will be shot into the small hollows or bowls.
*Each hollow or bowl in which the balls come to rest have a point value associated with them. Add up the points of each of the hollows in which a ball has come to rest.
*If the red ball is in a hollow, double the number of points for that ball.
*If the green ball is in a hollow, the points are subtracted from the sum obtained by the other 5 balls.
*Sometimes balls will fly out of the playing surface. These balls are out for that round and can not be replaced while the top is still spinning.
*A player scoring with all 6 balls gets to spin the top again.
*The winner is the player who first reaches a point total that is agreed upon before the game. Normally this total is 1000 points.[3]Alternative rule[edit]
The players can also stipulate that the score reached by the green and white balls is valid only if the red one also scores.[4]See also[edit]References[edit]
